Though
Event Wines does not actually import wines directly , the phrase “Import
Direct” is a real description of what we do and how we can bring the lowest
prices to our customers. Since we are a retailer, we are required to purchase
wine from a wholesaler. Over the years we have built strong relationships with
our wholesale vendors, so we now buy wine in tremendous quantities. The
wholesaler imports the wine directly and as soon as it arrives, they ship the
pallets to our warehouse store. Since the wholesalers do not have to inventory
the wine and it is a sure sale they are able to reduce their margins
significantly. And working with a wholesaler who is also an importer cuts out
the middleman.
Using the
“Import Direct” model, we cut out all the middlemen and pass the savings on to
you. The wines featured on this site are wines we currently have in stock
in our shipping warehouse. Stocks are constantly changing, so check back
often.
